I am a graphic artist and designer. I work in design using several different mediums that utilizes sketching, color theory,
digitalized photography and 3d objects. Much of my process can include contrasting lines, abstract details,
motifs and organic objects. Most of these I find as an inspiration through environments, whether it's in nature,
live music, travel, along with constant visits to galleries and museums.
Throughout the years I have embraced artists such as Herb Lubalin, Frank Stella, Andy Warhol, and Neville
Brody. During my studies as an undergraduate, I was very much influenced by the art
history of the Dada and Futurism periods.
My recent works have evolved around textile designs, surface patterns, apparel, product branding and
creative website designs, for a wider diverse of client based businesses. I founded Creative Hina Design in 2001 while attending Wayne State University and obtained a B.F.A in 2004. I am continually designing new
collections, experimenting with different techniques along with graphic designs and collaborating
with new clients such as INKY CLOUD of England, Quetarshe Textiles Design Studio, and Soul Sweet Beads,
just to name a few. I also have an Etsy Store for present graphic apparel and products.
